The Hana Collection was inspired by the main fabric that I found while on a New York City buying trip.
I came across this reversible floral fabric and was struck by how it was bold and soft, feminine and Earthy, all at once.
It was this dual nature that drew me to it and how the season of spring can be both bursting forth in color and new growth and still give us an unexpected snow storm, especially here in the mid-Atlantic, United States, where I live and work.
The duality and the Asian-inspired floral design of the fabric made me think of Japan,
where both tradition and the latest technology live side-by-side.

The word “Hana” means Spring in Japanese, which is where I got the name for this Collection.
So, we celebrate the duality of this season. The harshness of the cold that still lingers
and the color and softness of delicate blooms that burst forth from the hard ground reaching toward the sun,
just as we do.
