Fun, Kitschy metal trays were made for every state in the union and were popular souvenirs brought back from family vacations during the 1950's and 60's. They would  usually have a map of the state and corresponding information such as state birds, flowers or other related facts, much like this one from the "Aloha State" has on it.
Often paired with matching coasters, they were inexpensive and colorful collectibles that are now highly sought after by collectors of mid-century "kitsch".
